Conscious Conversations
Conscious Conversations is a new initiative set up the charity trustees, Shanna and Anusan, whom are both Scottish Mental Health First Aid Trained. This 2 hour interactive session condenses what they deem the most important information from the Scottish Mental Health First Aid Course (SMHFA) and is delivered to clubs and societies at the University of Edinburgh. In this way, vital, life-saving knowledge can be passed on to a larger group of people.

We hope that all the clubs and societies at the University of Edinburgh will at some stage participate in this free session. The session has 4 main goals:
-
Signs to look out for in those who may be suffering from mental health problems
-
Tips and advice on how to approach people you think may need help
-
Encouragement of open, non-judgmental discussion of mental health
-
Information on the resources available to help with mental health and wellbeing issues

If you would like more information on these sessions please do not hesitate to contact us.
